I think your suggestion was good, tbh. Email would be good way to alert people who want to participate.

Anytime I've tried sending out mass emails to all board users, it gets rejected by the server for spam. I also have the email option as a whole disabled board-wide.

So this is the easiest way lol

I don’t know if I scared y’all the last time when I closed xRED and said part of the reason was the uncertainty of the last begathon, but still, y’all came through with marvelous speed. You’ve trusted me yet again to keep us going. You’ve trusted me with your money, which is HUGE considering the history of bad behavior on that front from previous incidents. I know it’s about Christina, but I can’t help but feel that not anyone could have kept us together, or asked something like this from you, and have you lot willingly join in.
