Weird setlist, was expecting so much more. The clip of her saying she had to think hard about the set list when it was her usual one. For some reason I was expecting deepcuts and classical covers lol delusional me. But that’s just me as a fan, I’m sure being there was another experience.
And I would have liked more interaction with the philharmonic and Gustavo. They weren’t just a backing band.

Just as a sidenote.... I am a huge supporter of Gustavo Dudamel. He is a wonderful conductor and I know his arrangements will be spectacular.
If anyone is like me and a fan of Romanticism you should watch him leading Mahler's Resurrection Symphony with the incredible Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and National Youth Choir. The entire thing is about 1 hour and a half but here is an excerpt of the fifth movement finale below:
"The use of any recording devices, including cameras, is not permitted in Walt Disney Concert Hall at any time."
thats from the hollywood bowl website
Concert Halls and theaters are usually strict. But this isn’t the Walt Disney Concert Hall though.
do a quick google search bb I dare you
On what? The Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Hollywood Bowl are two different venues.
Like with all shows, recording is prohibited, but what I meant is that theaters and concert halls are a lot more strict on recording than outdoor amphitheaters and arenas. You'll find fan recordings of shows at The Hollywood Bowl -- so we can expect recordings of this show on YouTube.

I’m am so hyped for this. I’m a big follower of Dudamel, him being Venezuelan and all. So proud of him and Christina.
I hope they stream this live, like they did with the 2019 summer series with Natalia Lafourcade.
I could forget his chavista ass for one day or two tbh
He is not chavista. Look at the bigger picture and the foundation that depended on him.
