It's not farfetched to think she would say that... she also told Tayla Parxx that she doesn't know what we (fans) want from her during their writing sessions for Liberation. All people, especially the strong and bold, have moments of doubt. She's not a damn robot! She's human.

Plus doing a huge venue like this at this point in her career after doing a damn theatre tour for Liberation, had to be nerve wrecking.

we are usually on the same page but not on this topic. there's no telling where she would be if she didn't have the Voice keeping her name in the headlines those years. Plus the exposure she got to the younger generation has certainly not hurt her. she was arguably more connected with fans while on the voice vs during all those years off.

I have mixed feelings about The Voice... on one hand it kept her relevant to an extent but on the other hand, she didn't use the show to fuel her music career the way she could've and should've.

She was clearly unhappy while there and was rebelling in her music as well as in her role on the show... so it hurt her image for a while until SS hit.

I do like Sick of Sittin' BUT if she can do that deep cut then she definitely should be giving us I Am, Hurt, Bound To You and Lift Me Up! Girl needs to read the room a bit, these are fan favorites!!

She shot herself in the foot by making her core fans believe she "doesn't care about hits" so many fans stopped caring about helping her achieve hits.
