99% of reggaeton is as deep as the lyrics of Friday by Rebecca Black. So let's not overdramatize this.

There’s actually a lot of reggaeton out there with deep lyrics. Some of you don’t know wtf you’re talking about and are basing your knowledge on Latin music on a song you’ve heard here and there. Santo sounds like it would’ve been a hit in 2019. It’s 2021 and the sound of reggaeton has shifted.

But like I said, I’m here for Queen. I’m going to support, stream and buy regardless. I just hope there’s better material. All of you with the thumbs down reacts can kiss my ass. I said what the fuck I said. Stay mad. Being an Xtina stan doesn’t mean I have to blindly love everything she releases.

We did see the credits for PMM before any of these audio leaks and it included Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole, and Becky G. I’m just going to assume we only heard the demos and the final version has their vocals. :mamacita:

Pa mis muchachas sounds like Havanna from camila caballo but slower. IT'S NOTHING LIKE THAT SONG but for you to imagine the rhythm
and Santo sounds like a reggaeton SLAY. I can't think of any song like that but it's something you hear nowadays. It's just the right time to release it.
I can't tell if her pronunciation is the best but her voice in the clips sounds CLEAR AF

Rosalia is the IT girl in Latin music and she has somewhat crossed over into mainstream English speaking markets. Most people know who she is right?

Her album didn’t chart on the Billboard 200 at all. It charted on the Latin Albums chart. NONE of her singles from that album charted on the Hot 100 either.

Yet in Latin Music she was/is considered big and her album won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year.

This is why I laugh when some of you sit here and call Shakira a flop because she hasn’t had a Top 10 on the Hot 100 in a long time. Now you will see how it works for women in Latin music. Get ready.

Actually it’s just taking some hype from her comeback.
They’re not competing. And they wouldn’t even be if Xtina was releasing in English. Like, come on… Xtina is my favorite singer but NO ONE can compare to Adele’s numbers today. It’s not like Xtina would be #1 if it wasn’t for Adele.
