No you are right, I don't understand releasing a single and just not performing it. Like he'll even Somos Nada got 2 partial televised performances. And maybe she will perform it on her tour but then maybe she also should have released it months later if she intended to promote it well after it finished its run on radio and streaming. Yeah I'm not sure why the radio play doesnt correlate with streams at all, this absolutely blew PMM out of the water on radio and it has done better than anything shes released on radio since Say Something. That is just a fact. The streaming is atrocious though no way to get around that.

Still #16 on Spanish Contemporary and it was a positive bullet on all 3 Latin formats its charting on. Also dont forget the #1 song on Spanish Contemporary atm is Tacones Rojos which came out the same time as Pa Mis Muchachas. Santo isn't dead on radio yet.

Santo is still at #15 on Spanish Contemporary, has a negative bullet but the 2 songs ahead are falling faster and nothing is close to passing it. Could maybe get a #13 peak if it doesnt fall too fast.

I thought Christina loved performing live though so how is her performing her current single sacrificing her hapiness?

I think I know why the views are increasing more now - about 2 week about I noticed when you searched Christina Aguilera on youtube Santo stopped showing up when it used to be 1st and I just searched her again right now and Santo is back to being the number 1 result and I imagine it updated yesterday hence the sudden increase in views again. Just a hypothesis but it makes sense to me why it randomly jumped from 100k views to 300k a day.

This was kind of expected, nobody should be too freaked out about it - I expect it to accelerate a bit in the coming days because of all the first day listens of Santo and La Fuerza will be dropping off now. It should level off after a couple weeks I reckon.

I agree it can help on YouTube but not on playlists and radio. In those cases where radio stations added Santo because of ozuna's name they may now move to his new song. Let's hope this doesn't happen.

Ozuna had 3 songs in the top 40 when Santo started climbing, many Latin artists have multiple songs climbing on radio at the same time. I wouldnt let this worry you too much.

Loyal Brave True reached Top 10 on AC, but its total AI was (at most) 2M.

The top audience song has 8.8 million AI and the top spins song has 1900 spins - I have seen 10 million AI and 2k spins.

Tropical Latin which she has started to move up again gives another 700 spins and about 3 million AI.

Topping the spanish airplay would give equivalent airplay to topping like AC format, it's not huge but it is something Christina hasnt experienced since her collaboration days.

actually, people like Taylor Swift has been releasing literal dozens of remixes in order to scam their way into #1 on the charts. it's pretty much how BoTS got all their #1s

Not to mention Britney Spears has a top 40 hit on radio atm because of a remix.

Nelly Furtado's flop single big Hoops had another run due to being remixed.

I can name dozens more instances of her peers doing this in the last year or two and it actually being beneficial.
