I think she did, in fact it was in an interview during liberation or X tour era, when she was asked if she would collaborate with Britney, she said something like "if her reps say yes" this video gives me the hint she tried to reach out, but never got an answer back

Even though Christina has mentioned many times that she's exploring her roots etc, I am surprised Britney would know that. Christina hasn't done promo in mainstream US television/media about the latin EPs, how would Britney know that? Unless she's THAT obsessed with Christina and she's checking every single interview she's doing for the new era in latin American media.

Through her instagram sis, christina has said several times in her posts about "Aguilera" that she is reconnecting with her roots. She is obviously aware of all the things christina is doing, you just have take a look at christina social media to know about her current projects, concerts, etc.

She';s not following Xtina though

Didn't christina say that she tried to talk to britney during rehearsals of their 2003 vmas performance but britney was very distant? Christina noticed britney was lost and unhappy since then.

True, not myself tonight video is basically a madonnas tribute and the back to basics album cover is very bedtime stories but except for the vmas performance she has never acknowledged christina like she does with britney.... but now its ok I guess, britney needs the support.
