And with all the backing ad libs and notes I wonder why she doesn’t just use one for the shine note. The way she sings the bridge is just all over the place. If she even just sang the verses and asked the audience to do the heavy lifting on the choruses that would sound great. Put fantasia and the other girl backstage for a minute and interact with the audience

I mean, I know what I was getting, but it's been said that this is the biggest festival in Chile so, the crowd is hard to please etc, so I thought her team must creating something different.

not a whole. be realistic. you go to a HUGE latin america festival and you have CELD, HTGDT, and a bunch of songs from 2 latin albums. at least play them as interludes and not bad bunny or whatever. she could have put a litte more effort tbh. It's just lazy from her but it seems that GP is having fun

I really don't know if we are all just jaded as hell but its the same show everytime. I miss her surprising us! I believe in her! I want her stunning moment before she finishes! A new ad-lib, something!

Just go watch the back to basics tour after this. Christina at her peak creativity when it came to vocals and performances

I was there in Manc 2007! And in 2003. And 2019 and 2022!

I know how she can transport an audience when she herself is transported! She connects on Beautiful still! And even Fighter tho we loathe it now.
But not the rest of the songs! She needs to drop the half ass half performed "club bangers" and get back to those connecting one on one moments. Her emotional depth

I'm only disappointed that she did not include "Contigo en la Distancia", other than that, her vocals are on point and the crowd is LIVING.

I do understand why.

Contigo En La Distancia is a risky choice for such an important festival. It is one of the most legendary spanish songs of all time and if she screwed it up, she would have another Superbowl 2011 situation in her hands
