And Muchachas is a vehicle to get the latino generation Z (in many latin countries Nathy and Nicki are a non factor and totally unknown) .
The combo is good. 2 singles for 2 different audiences at the same time worked perfect for Nelly Furtado Loose (in Latin America and Europe) and for Rihanna (pop single and urban single).
The medley will put her on the map. Media and industry eyes will be on her. She has to murder both songs and then let the label do the job!
People forget the Havana by Camila Cabello was a total flop the first 2 months, it was called too folkloric for pop radio, then a TV performance happened and payola was sent everywhere.... Stop complaining and enjoy this moment with 2 singles and a fuckin Grammy performance!!!

i dont know if its going to be a hit or not but i personally love it and have enjoyed it a lot thus far, I play it at least twice a day and gives me LIFE. Hopefully she'll look amazing and kill the performance. She has said in the interviews that she has the reguetons and the chavela vargas, boleros etc, there will be material for everyone to enjoy.

Idk if I'm just being overly optimistic...
But I have a feeling the casual fans/general listeners will catch on more to this overall project when the full first EP is out and they can listen thru and find their own fave tracks, since all thee songs are dif vibes/styles
AND bc it's not a full album, it's much easier for casual listeners/fans to listen thru the whole thing faster and digest it
