I also asked Etienne do you know there is a forum for her and are u or her team active on it? He said no what is this? we don't know. I was curious to know if they were reading posts or listening to her fans on the forum and i even showed him the forum back then ( i think it was xtina.red)
What i am trying to say is that stop overanalyzing or overthinking that she is studying her next step or marketing strategy or her social posts... She and her team are so fucking random and they know nothing.
Just enjoy the new music, do not compare her to other artists marketing strategies or her charting capabilities... She and her team are so chill and she only has Etienne catching up on her social media and her charting! lol
Enjoy the fucking music and just pass if you don't like because she literally gives zero fucks about all of this drama you guys are creating.

There’s actually a lot of reggaeton out there with deep lyrics. Some of you don’t know wtf you’re talking about and are basing your knowledge on Latin music on a song you’ve heard here and there. Santo sounds like it would’ve been a hit in 2019. It’s 2021 and the sound of reggaeton has shifted.
But like I said, I’m here for Queen. I’m going to support, stream and buy regardless. I just hope there’s better material. All of you with the thumbs down reacts can kiss my ass. I said what the fuck I said. Stay mad. Being an Xtina stan doesn’t mean I have to blindly love everything she releases.

Things might have changed with Roc Nation. They have a different approach to music than Irving.

I like these two songs and I am excited for this new music. However, those of you obsessed with charts need to lower your expectations. I do not think these two songs will be groundbreaking. In MY opinion.
They sound dated. The beats and production sound dated and the lyrics are not good. Those of you saying these will smash and the lyrics sound like standard reggaeton lyrics do not listen to reggaeton of today. Yes there’s a lot of stupid shit out there that’s just meant to have you shaking your ass at the club. But even the stupid shit is lyrically written and structured better. These lyrics sound like the songs were written in English and Xtina took them to Google Translate and sang what the website said.
I always wish her the best and if I’m wrong and she smashes, by all means drag me. But I just don’t see it with these two songs. But again, I’m excited and hope there’s deeper material on this EP.

This is why we get nothing and things always change. Her fans are her worse critics. I personally love both songs, I'm latino born and raised so even if the songs sound "outdated" to some, I'm still really excited to hear her do these sounds. I am also sure she's not releasing a full album of the same type of songs. We know she's teasing sounds because "there was so much material," so I would calm down and let her do her thing. If you don't like the songs, just don't comment and move it along, leave the rest of us that are excited to enjoy it.

We listen to different reggaeton then because even when the lyrics are shallow, they are constructed better.

I don't know how we ended up in this state of binary opinions on things - either love or hate. I personally find it interesting to read everyone's individual (and differing) critiques of songs. We all have different tastes and criteria for what makes a good song.

I just listened to the PMM again. The ending has great melisma but the forced rasp in between are weird in term of placements it just makes her sound like she’s struggling . X be doing so much all at once . She just need to chill her voice is beautiful without trying .
