She has said multiple times in interviews how she's stepping outside of her comfort zone by singing in Spanish since it's not her first language. I can't judge her either. If anything, I hope she gains more confidence the more she does it.

I believe she stated this in an interview from this year which it was assumed since she only did a song here and there in Spanish for the past two decades until now. At least she’s singing over studio recordings from this century and it’s not her first language. Mariah is still lipping over 90’s vocals from her first language and Beyoncé is still lipping over studio recordings from 2 decades ago. The “Say My Name” chorus with the original DC4 harmonies are still used to this day.
