I understand what you're saying but it would give the song exposure and would show that it's still alive. The problem with Your Body or Accelerate was that the singles were dead on arrival. She dropped the song, then the video and stopped caring. One or two performances, one next week and another one at the Latin Grammy, would give exposure and show that she cares. Also, some people rediscover songs when they hear them live because it gives them another dimension. Just like when they see a music video for the first time. Especially if the performance is amazing!

Playlisting is obviously extremely important too. But it's not up to Xtina.

Theres no way clubs use Spotify for their sound system, they use DJ set turntables

And people spend at the office during weekdays so they regularly play music from their PC during working hours to boost up mood

It has been getting 1.4 M during the first 2 days, not that bad. I expect better numbers on youtube than spotify
