It is weird that she’s performing at big events like the Hollywood Bowl, and now this, without any new music to promote.

Maybe this is an attempt to remind everyone who she is and get her name out there again? I just think that’s harder to do if you’re only relying on your greatest hits.

It’s in Brooklyn, which is the hipster epicenter of America, and several of the artists on this year and previous years’ lineup are beloved by young gays and girls online.

Oh, I didn't realize there were other performers announced besides Christy and this other individual whom I've never heard of.

As far as Brooklyn, hasn't that ship sailed? I thought all the "cool kids" (tho lbr, all hipsters are evil and must be destroyed) were moving out to Queens now. Last time I was in Brooklyn for work, the hotel room came with a fucking butler.
