I had zero expectations for this song. This is alll so surprising.

Spotify numbers are in, HMC accumulated 3.1M streams worldwide in its first day, making it one of the biggest female debuts of the year.

This is so impressive especially for someone who's never really had a big streaming presence.

These clips are backfiring on him though... I generally think Britney is off her rocker most of the time, she still comes off like a regular parent trying to discipline teen boys albeit in her high strung way.

I mean she spent the last 15 years of her life isolated, enslaved, and controlled. I am sure there is irreparable damage to her mental health. Kevin is just getting desperate at this point, Britney has been supporting his entire family for the past decade and now that the kids are getting older, he is trying to secure more money. Lol Scream and and shout is one of the best selling singles of all time. Gimme More and Work bitch go viral on tiktok every other month. There's a reason why her streaming #s are higher than most of her contemporaries and legends before her time who supposedly have more memorable hits than her.

The song is gaining some popularity due to the Netflix Christmas movie, “Single All the Way” where it is featured in a scene. The movie is very popular on Netflix. That’s the only reason the song is being streamed more than usual this year.

Or maybe its due to the fact that she was/is one of the biggest newsmakers of 2021... MOWTY is not the only song that increased in streams this year, her entire discography did, plus, she also had several songs go viral on tiktok. Her discography was exposed to a bigger/younger audience this year, hopefully this propels the song be even bigger next year.
