These medleys work because they are same tempo and theme almost.

But when she goes from a ballad to an uptempo totally unrelated, it feels off.

I just want her to actually sing the lyrics of whatever song she’ll perform and not just walk around and do a speech or pointing the mic to the audience or just shouting “say” and stuff like that. I really enjoyed the Hollywood bowl concert because she was singing the entire song and it was so refreshing to see that. She was great during Tina Turner’s tribute as well. I hope she keeps that up because we like to see her sing her songs not just sing a few parts you know what I mean?

Christina is amazing when it comes to doing medleys of others people's songs but when it's her own stuff it's more miss than hit. Also her best performances always happen at random places and not at places where they need to happen

Again, cattlecum, different circumstances. She does that at private events and her Vegas/tours where fans are watching. She won’t be doing that nonsense at an event like this where she is reestablishing herself.

The last time she nailed a medley live was in Stripped era I think, when she performed Dirtty/Fighter. B2B didn’t have any and after that came infamous AMA medley during KGB era..
