This first week was Apple Music heavy. I wonder if the plan is to do the same on Spotify in the coming weeks. Earnings are greater for all involved on Apple Music, so maybe the push there first then sustain on Spotify.

So based on this, it's better that I'm using Amazon Music -than Spotify for example- because it takes less replays to get to $1

Right?

In my opinion, I'd rather use Spotify because:
- it's the biggest platform
- numbers are public so they are the ones fans look at
- Xtina doesn't need more coins. I mean, I'm glad to give her my money but she's already 50 times a millionaire so I'd rather focus on her public number of streams growing than focusing on giving her 1 more dollar

I say that as an Apple Music user actually, but I use Spotify to give her more streams. I don't know if it makes sense but I've thought about leaving for Spotify a lot to help her numbers. It's a shame that AM doesn't share theirs…

The other producers and songwriters should get some coins. It’s not just about Christina. I think that was sweet of her considering usually the first week is the strongest sales wise. I do not like Spotify personally, they don’t even have lyrics for the other songs from the EP. I am playing on both tho because like you said Spotify numbers are public, but AM is better from sound quality to navigation.

For the songwriters and producers, yes. I use both tho, but hopefully the numbers become strong enough through playlisting on Spotify so I can drop Spotify and go back solely to Apple. I did this when PMM came out until the numbers were strong enough on Spotify.

I think Santo is on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart this week. However, this has not been confirmed yet, they have not updated. I just found out that Santo was on Apple Music's Argentina Hot 100 playlist on the 22nd.

Seems weird since PMM debuted there a week after it was released and I thought Santo is doing much better than PMM.

I hope it's their strategy bc clearly they did more promo on Apple Music.

Spotify is the biggest music streaming platform though so i hope there is a strategy for Spotify too!

It has always been a mystery to me, are you 100% sure it's Spotify? One would think it would be the artist's management team/label handling their profile but the This is... playlists are created by Spotify so you might be right... i still don't get why they would place a new release almost last... and i don't understand why they have Xtina's collaborations higher than her big solo hits...

I think it's initiated by them but the artists team can tweak it... I mean Christina's list has changed several times since the release of La Fuerza...

Most recently Contigo En La Distancia was added. Replacing SNTHC ft Luis Fonsi. & Santo is now 8th on the list.

So Santo is charting slightly higher than Maluma's song on Spain's Apple Music chart. Christina's team did a great job promoting Santo and the EP on Apple Music but it's time to focus on Spotify now :-)

It's her biggest shot at a hit and probably her last considering how radio has treated her the last decade…

That's why it would be a shame not to milk it!
They need to add it to more playlists, send it to radio and perform it at least once.

If they do all of that and it doesn't take off, we will know she has done everything to get a hit and it's not her problem anymore!

Guys make sure you stream the song from This is Ozuna and Future hits Latin. They are big playlists and very good news that they included the song now that we will lose the New music Friday playlists

Hopefully, it will rise in those playlists if it gets played a lot

I’m expecting #1 on US Latin Digital Sales as 2 versions were at #1 and #2 for awhile and Santo has mostly been at #1 most of the tracking week. Sales aren’t very much today and tomorrow I suppose.
