To be honest, I am losing hope because neither xtina nor ozuna posted anything about the song recently.electronicsupersonic wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:10 amI still have hope, they've been confirming new performers everyday.Angelopoulopoulous wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 4:36 am Premio Lo Nuestro tweeted about the performers and most of the comments are asking for Xtina!

Ain't no way Christina is going to Premio Lo Nuestro right now. I don't think we understand how little fucks Christina gives about the charts. I don't think her mindset is "let me get out of my comfort zone for a week to push a song that's going to go top 20 on Latin billboard ". What else can the charts give her that she doesn't already have, has had, and will continue to have? We all know that thanks to Christina's entrepreneurial and tech-savvy spirit she's in the Billionaire's club. When someone buys out Masterclass for $7 billion...
Imagine a Forbes Richest Celebs list with Queen on the cover for her $2.3 Billion dollar tech empire.
WOW I completely understand why fellow Billionaires Jay Z and Beyonce have included her in their circle.
Not to play too much in Queen's pockets, but...

WOW and an IPO posibility?! Even is she own just 20% of it with Matt as VP. Billionaires.m

This is really unnecessary as it is not like that.
Yes, she had said before she doesn't care about charts but it might be as simple as performing at Premios Lo Nuestro is not part of their plans for the single promotion. Also, might have something to do with contracts, deals, agreements, conditions, etc. Who knows for what reason (if she really doesn't perform Santo there).
BUT my point is: She is really committed to this Latin era. I don't know what more prove of this some of you need. Don't make a big deal about her not performing at this award show (if she doesn't) and don't blame/point at her like that.
The best is yet to come

Yeah this is pretty normal for a song on radio - start out of the gate hot, sort of simmer in the midsections for a bit until getting put on power rotation and moving to the top spot. Santo was only released 3 and half weeks ago and is already top 20, going to be top 15 in probably a day or two.Angelopoulopoulous wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 10:39 am Yes, a relief to see Spanish Contemporary back on positive again.
Tacones Rojos was released at the same time as Pa Mis Muchachas so 3 months ago now and it is currently #4 getting put on power rotation and will probably take the top spot soon enough. Tacones Rojos is a certified hit with longevity, streaming numbers, youtube views basically it would be a perfect case scenario if Santo followed the same trajectory as that - peaking sometime in late april - early may.

How many spins/audience does the #1 song on Spanish contemporary have? I’d like to know what the ceiling looks like on that format.

The top audience song has 8.8 million AI and the top spins song has 1900 spins - I have seen 10 million AI and 2k spins.Agugaga wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 1:09 pmFranzjoseph wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 11:28 amYeah this is pretty normal for a song on radio - start out of the gate hot, sort of simmer in the midsections for a bit until getting put on power rotation and moving to the top spot. Tropical Latin which she has started to move up again gives another 700 spins and about 3 million AI.
Topping the spanish airplay would give equivalent airplay to topping like AC format, it's not huge but it is something Christina hasnt experienced since her collaboration days.

Although I personally don’t see it going to #1 just because of how bruised I am by radio, I do think Sony Latin will probably gun for a Top 10 peak. Similar to how Disney pushed LBT to peak at #10 on AC.Franzjoseph wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 3:38 pmThe top audience song has 8.8 million AI and the top spins song has 1900 spins - I have seen 10 million AI and 2k spins.Agugaga wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 1:09 pmFranzjoseph wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 11:28 am
