The movie is coming out next month but it looks like US cinemas/movie theatres are allowed to only have 25% capacity. Will Disney invest on promo for the movie for such small capacity?

Most states and countries have been opening up and are trying to get back to 'normal' so im hoping by the release date there isnt a second wave of Miss Rona and people will be willing to go to the cinema :fingerscrossed:

I don't have any idea about the film industry, so let me speak like I'm an expert: at this point, why wouldn't Disney just move to a simulcast on Disney+ as well as one of the networks? They could do it like on a Friday night and make it an event. They're not going to meet expectations at the box office anyway, so this seems like an alternative way to reach the Disney stanbase, attract attention (maybe for awards too), and recoup some of the cost through advertising coins. :womanshrug:

I'd love to know what they are thinking but they must be planning to do something to cut the losses. What I find strange is that a new release date for China is not available yet. They were really counting on the chinese market.
